Ordinary Time 12
The Word
On the evening of that same day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s go to the other side of the lake.” So they left the crowd and got into the boat. Suddenly a strong wind blew up and the waves began to spill over into the boat filling it with water. Jesus was in the back of the boat sleeping. The disciples woke him up, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are about to die?” Jesus stood up and commanded the wind, “Be quiet!” To the waves he said, “Be still!” And there was calm.

Look Closer
As the disciples began to witness Jesus performing miracles, they were at times bewildered and frightened. In our own faith journey it can be scary and sometimes confusing as we grow to realise how powerful God is. That one so powerful would love us so profoundly is simply breathtaking.

Winding River Garden Update
Tracy and the senior students were busy on Wednesday, spreading all the rocks in our Aboriginal Garden. All students were able to place their handprint on the three poles. The garden looks amazing and there are still a few more components to go in. Thank you Tracy for all your hard work in bringing this garden to fruition before you go.
