Ordinary Time 19 Living in the light
The Word
St Paul wrote to the Ephesians, “Don’t hold grudges against others or lose your temper. No more shouting or insults. Don’t be spiteful. Instead, be kind to each other and forgive as God has forgiven you. You are God’s precious children. Try to love like Jesus has loved you.”
1 Kn 19:4-8 | Ps 33 | Eph 4:30-5:2 | Jn 6:41-51
Look Closer
Children of God. Have you ever had two people you love fight with one another? It is so upsetting when this happens! We want to be close to both of them and we want them to enjoy each other’s company too. God is our heavenly father and like any parent, he hates it when his children squabble and hurt each other. God wants us to be a family together.
